There is a fragile balance to Astronauts, etc.’s debut EP, Sadie, as Anthony Ferraro approaches his soulful bedroom ballads with a mix of disregard and respect for the 15 years of studying classical piano that eventually led to these earnest compositions. While Ferraro’s falsetto croons atop his spacey keyboard and heady production, there is an essence of heartbreaking torment that brings listeners intimately close to the artist’s world.
