These intimate shows Upstairs at Ace Hotel Downtown LA are an ode to community and fandom, presenting our favorite acts up close and personal in one of our city's finest locations. December 28, 2014 featured a performance from folk crooner Avid Dancer—née Jacob Dylan Summers. We were in the holiday spirit, and gave away a handful of copies of the Stop Playing With My Heart 7" while sipping on some cozy cocktails. Jacob felt the wintertime mood as well, taking cover requests in advance via his Twitter—all in all it was a beautiful wind down to 2014.
